Sohan Halwa is a firm, nutty Pakistani sweet from Multan, made from wheat flour, desi ghee, milk and sugar, cooked until it sets and cut into pieces. Unlike soft, spoonable halwas, it has a clean, brittle snap.
It is most famous in Multan — the city it is named after — and is a favourite for gifting, especially in winter and at Eid.
